Planning permission granted for new hotel at NEC Birmingham

Plans have been approved by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council for a Hampton by Hilton hotel with 203 rooms within the compound of the existing Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC.

The development includes a multi-storey car park with 452 spaces to replace and augment the existing parking facilities.

John Rowan and Partners acted as Project Managers and Cost Consultants on the project. The project Architects were Stride Treglown.

Due to the current coronavirus restrictions, full planning permission was granted by the planning committee over a live broadcast.
