Working in the regeneration sector
John Rowan and Partners have years of experience in the regeneration sector. We have delivered results and are helping to positively influence housing and the environment for the communities involved, transforming the space in which they live in.
Our experience in regeneration doesn’t come much bigger than the multiple services we provided for the London 2012 Athletes Village, a lasting legacy of the 2012 Olympic games – transformed into East Village with 2,818 new homes, an academy campus for 1,800 students, extensive transports links, a healthcare centre, cafés and bars, 27 acres of parkland and 30 shops right on the doorstep of Westfield Stratford City.
Since then we have been involved with several big regeneration schemes:
Green Man Lane, Ealing
An exciting regeneration scheme set in Ealing, West London. Ealing Council selected developer Rydon in a joint venture partnership with housing provider A2Dominion Group to create a new neighbourhood over a 10 year programme.
This regeneration project has a masterplan over four phases, estimated to be complete by 2023. It will deliver 2,400 homes, of which 1200 will be made available to existing residents. It will also include a new primary school, new health facilities and an improved public realm, enhancing environmental standards.
The Ladderswood estate redevelopment will provide 517 apartments and family houses for private sale, shared ownership and social rent with associated parking and landscaping. The project includes the design and construction of six commercial units, a community centre and an 80-bedroom hotel. An on-site energy centre will replace the existing district heating system and will provide social, community facilities and private properties with power and heating.
Alongside further regeneration schemes like The Wharf E5, New South Quarter and Great West Quarter.
