An exciting new redevelopment project in Tolworth, south London, has reached its first major milestone last week with a formal ground-breaking ceremony.

John Rowan and Partners is acting as Employers Agent for the first phase of this Guinness Partnership major regeneration project.

“It’s great to see Signal Park quite literally get off the ground,” said Mash Halai, Chairman and Head of Residential Development and Regeneration at John Rowan and Partners who attended the event. “This is our first project with the Partnership and we’re looking forward to helping them deliver this first 211-home phase.”

Signal Park is being built on an 11-acre site which was once home to government offices and represents the largest regeneration project of its kind in the borough of Kingston-upon-Thames for more than 50 years.

The site is well-placed for local transport links, with easy access to local amenities.

All the homes in this first phase are marked for shared ownership, with a range of one, two and three bedroom apartments due for completion in the summer of 2023.
