Albion Terrace
Albion Terrace is a Grade II* listed building dating from the early 19th century. Originally built as 11 Georgian townhouses, the terrace was split in the 1990’s and now consists of 60 leaseholder flats.
Our heritage experts were able to assess and specify the appropriate works necessary for such an historic building, and ensured that a sensitive conservation approach was realised.
We have been a part of the project team from inception, including the following stages:
- Carrying out an initial survey and report on the existing condition of the building
- Dealing with local authorities and conservation officers, and obtaining planning and listed building consents
- Full specification and tender process
Now currently delivering the project works on site, we continue to operate as a key team member and facilitate strong relationships between all parties.
So far we have found savings of £50,000, which were re-allocated to completely replace the lead gutters to the entire perimeter of the building.
