Charing Cross Hospital – Cliff, Parsons and Golding House

Our involvement spans over three multi-storey accommodation blocks located within the grounds of Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith, situated on the Fulham Palace Road.

The high profile project works covers 680 bed spaces, with communal bathroom and kitchen facilities per cluster, within three multi-storey 1960’s tower blocks over a 1 year programme.

The John Rowan and Partners team worked closely with the client to meet the recommendations of the Hackitt review during the programme.

Being within the hospital grounds and immediately adjacent to a day nursery means the programme will be carried out on a highly sensitive and congested site. The nature of the project works includes the replacement of main electrical risers and distribution switchgear and cabling, together with associated electrical works to replace communal lighting and fire alarms. In addition, the hospital accommodation requires a comprehensive overhaul and refurbishment of existing windows, along with the repair and redecoration of external elements and communal circulation areas.

We continue to work on multiple schemes since, such as a re-roofing scheme at the Riverbank, Staines.
