What is Electrical Compliance?

Electrical compliance is a legal obligation for landlords across the UK, with penalties for non-compliance ranging from fines to imprisonment. It includes ensuring standards are met and installations are to the current BS7671 wiring regulations, identifies poor workmanship and a review of all certifications.

Supporting the client

The client required specialist understanding of electrical certification for their Kitchen and Bathroom programme, with the skills to assess the standard of work undertaken and prevent any unnecessary work being carried out.

We provided support and guidance for the project, and were able to answer any queries, allowing the client’s team to instruct the electrical contractors in the appropriate manner. Following site inspections, the client was able to return to the sites to rectify poor installations which would have otherwise gone unnoticed, thus saving thousands of pounds in future remedial works.
