Paul O’Connor

Residential Development and Regeneration

Paul has been working at John Rowan and Partners since 1999 where he initially joined as junior Quantity Surveyor. Since then Paul has risen through the ranks to become a Partner in our Residential Development and Regeneration team.

He has a broad understanding of both public and private sectors and, since joining the Residential Development and Regeneration team in 2006, he has been able to adapt to his role and has become a key player in managing and delivering schemes with our Registered Provider clients.

Paul also has in depth experience in working with JCT and PPC2000 contracts and has assisted clients with dispute resolution and claim advice when required. Prior to Paul’s role within the Residential Development and Regeneration team, he had been undertaking a role of Project Management and Cost Management on the Hounslow Homes Decent Homes Programme.

Paul was responsible for leading a team in Christchurch New Zealand as part of the rebuild programme post the earthquakes. He was responsible for leading a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managements in carrying out the initial assessments of damage to both residential and commercial properties, producing estimates and responsible for the overseeing of the resulting works.

He is an enthusiastic and motivated team leader and player with a strong work ethic, who appreciates the need to put the projects agenda first and meeting the needs of our clients.
